Bainbridge blotter | Angry ex

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

MONDAY, OCT. 22

3:15 p.m. Police were called to a downtown Winslow bank where a 24-year-old Silverdale man told them his ex-boyfriend had damaged his car and then run off toward Waterfront Park.

The car’s driver’s side mirror was hanging by a few wires and there was a large dent on the door next to it.

The man said his ex, 24, of Poulsbo, had seen him with another man and became furious. He said his ex broke off the mirror and “thrashed” his car, but did not make any physical contact with him before running away.

Police searched but could not locate the other man.

The Silverdale man said he did wish to file charges against his ex, whom he stopped dating in June after having been together for nearly five years.
