Sean Flanagan of Sabelhaus West, a commercial painting company in Silverdale, does touch-up work in a room on the second floor of the Bainbridge Island Fire Department’s new Station 21 Thursday.

The new fire hall, paid for by a $16 million bond measure approved by Bainbridge voters in February 2015, is expected to be substantially complete by May 1.
