The cloudy skies didn't deter islanders from turning out for the 43rd annual Grand Old Fourth of July celebration Sunday. Those who braved the overcast outlook were rewarded with sun breaks as the parade began its way down Madison Avenue at 1 p.m. Fans of the annual event lined the street once again as more than 100 floats, including many of the usual suspects, made their way through downtown Winslow.
