The second boat on the Bainbridge to Seattle ferry run returned to service in time for the 7:20 p.m. sailing Wednesday night.

The Wenatchee was towed to Eagle Harbor for repair Wednesday morning when its engines overheated. The vessel was in the repair yard for the majority of the day, knocking the Bainbridge run down to one ferry for the majority of the morning and evening commutes.

The shift led to 20-30 minute delays on the remaining run.
