The public is invited to attend an open house Monday at 6 p.m. at the City Council chamber where city staff and members of the city’s Land Use Committee will be on hand to answer questions from the public about the Housing Design Demonstration Projects (HDDP) ordinance.

For the first 40 minutes people have a chance to roam around the chamber where staff will have visual presentations. For the second half of the open house, the staff and audience will participate in a question and answer period.

One hour before the open house, the Land Use Committee will engage in a special meeting to discuss the ordinance.

The public will have another chance to comment on the ordinance at Wednesday's council meeting when the ordinance gets its second second reading.
