It took Bainbridge Fire Department crews less than 15 minutes to extinguish a fire that broke out in the attic of an Arrow Point home Tuesday afternoon.

BIFD Chief Hank Teran said the fire was reported at 3:30 p.m. on Arrow Point Loop. Twelve firefighters responded.

"When units arrived they saw flames showing through the attic," Teran said.

The house was vacant and no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
