Washington State Ferries is again reminding ferry travelers to expect large crowds at the Bainbridge and Seattle ferry terminals on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Ferries are expected to be jammed due to a free public concert followed by the 5:30 p.m. Seahawks season opener football game against the Green Bay Packers. Gates for the game open at 2:30 p.m.

Passengers are encouraged to pre-purchase their return ferry tickets online or at a kiosk.
