Eight rescued from capsized boat

The Coast Guard rescued eight people from a capsized boat Sunday night off Bainbridge Island.

The 8:10 p.m. ferry sailing to Seattle was also delayed so the MV Wenatchee could assist in the rescue operation, and the rescued boaters have been brought into Eagle Harbor to be evaluated by medics, according to the Bainbridge Island Fire Department.
