TRAVEL ADVISORY | Bicyclist hit on Highway 305

Traffic heading north on Highway 305 came to a near standstill just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday after a bicyclist riding north was apparently struck by a car.

A driver passing the scene said the cyclist was still lying on the roadway near Highway 305 and Koura Road.

A Suquamish police officer who was in the area was assisting the cyclist, and a medic unit was heading to the scene.
