Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle and Bremerton-Seattle ferry routes to expect heavy traffic Friday, Aug. 22, as the Seattle Seahawks take on the Chicago Bears in a preseason game at CenturyLink Field.

The game starts at 7 p.m.

WSF said ferry riders should be prepared for long lines eastbound in the afternoon and westbound after the game. Passengers are encouraged to pre-purchase their ferry tickets on-line or at a kiosk.
