Tree protest at the Visconsi site | SLIDESHOW

Roughly 50 citizens and activists gathered at the corner of High School Road and Highway 305 on Monday to show support for the nearby tree sit by Bainbridge teen, Chiara D'Angelo, and in opposition of the development of a shopping center by Ohio-based developer, Visconsi.

The shopping development would result in more than 800 trees to cleared off the property.
