Congressman Kilmer visits Japanese American Exclusion Memorial | SLIDESHOW

U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer took his first tour of the Japanese American Exclusion Memorial with survivors of the World War II internment camps last week on Bainbridge Island.

Many survivors shared stories and pointed out their names, and their family’s names, on the walls of the memorial.
