Emergency crews respond to multiple brush fires on Highway 3

POULSBO — Traffic on both sides of Highway 3 was down to one lane near Sherman Hill Road June 11 as emergency crews responded to multiple brush fires.

Two fires — and possibly a third — were reported in the early afternoon. The cause of the fires was not immediately known.

No injuries were reported.

Emergency crews had the fires extinguished and were available before 1:30 p.m.
