Bainbridge council members host ward meetings

The Bainbridge Island City Council will host its annual ward meetings this month.

Ward meetings give the public a chance to have a community conversation with council members on the issues that are important to Bainbridge Island.

The schedule is:

• North Ward meeting with Mayor Anne Blair, Councilman Val Tollefson and Councilman Steve Bonkowski, 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at Seabold Community Hall, 14450 Komedal Road;

• South Ward meeting with Councilman Roger Townsend, Councilwoman Sarah Blossom and Bonkowski: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 13 at Lynwood Commons, 4779 Lynwood Center Road NE;

• Central Ward meeting with Councilman David Ward and Councilman Wayne Roth, 7 to

9 p.m. Wednesday, June 4 at city hall.

The meetings give island residents an opportunity to engage in open dialogue with their elected officials. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The public can email council members issues they’d like to discuss in advance of the meeting at citycouncil@bainbridgewa.gov.
