City's ethics board to talk about amendments

The city of Bainbridge Island's Ethics Board will meet this week to talk about amending the city's ethics code.

The board will also elect a new chairman.

Also on the agenda: a review of the confusion over the city's conflict of interest policy and how it meshes with the ethics code. The board is also expected to discuss the role of the ethics committee.

The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 17 in the east conference room at the Waterfront Park Community Center.
