TRAVEL ADVISORY | Traffic lights out at Highway 305-High School Road

The Bainbridge Island Fire Department reported the traffic signals went dark at the Highway 305-High School Road intersection shortly before 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Drivers should treat the intersection as a four-way stop.

Thousands of residents across Kitsap County are without power as a strong windstorm continues to move through Puget Sound and Western Washington.

Puget Sound Energy said Kitsap County has been one of the hardest hit areas, along with north King County and Whidbey Island.

PSE said it had 651 outages system-wide affecting 39,982 customers at 11 a.m. Jan. 11.
