Hearing on Bainbridge marijuana moratorium is Nov. 17

The Bainbridge Island City Council will hold a public hearing on an ordinance that would establish a moratorium on marijuana growing on Wednesday, Nov. 13, the city announced Friday.

The proposed ordinance would also establish interim regulations for marijuana processing, legal marijuana retail stores, and collective gardens.

The city will also accept written comments on the ordinance before the date of the hearing. The city clerk will accept hand-delivered or mailed comments to city hall, or emailed comments at cityclerk@bainbridgewa.gov.

The Nov. 13 council meeting starts at 7 p.m.
