Rep. Kilmer to hold telephone town hall Wednesday

Congressman Derek Kilmer will hold his third telephone town hall with constituents this week.

The telephone town hall is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, and participants will have the opportunity to ask Rep. Kilmer a question or leave a message with their questions or comments.

“There’s a lot of uncertainty regarding budget issues in our nation’s capital right now and I want to make sure my constituents have an opportunity to speak with me about these important issues and more – even when I’m in D.C.,” said Representative Kilmer, a 6th District Democrat from Gig Harbor. “I look forward to having the opportunity to discuss why I believe that Congress needs to pass a real, bipartisan, long term budget.”

Residents of the 6th District who would like to join the call can sign up at or send an email with their phone number to with their name and phone number by noon on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Residents who sign up before the deadline will receive a phone call at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 inviting them to the town hall.
