Community to discuss possible redevelopment of Vincent Road landfill

A community meeting will be held next week to discuss the Vincent Road landfill.

The meeting calls for public input on how the site might be redeveloped. Bainbridge parks officials have suggested turning a portion of the property into an off-leash dog area.

During the session, residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the site, to discuss its current use and how it may be redeveloped, considering environmental constraints.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 in theĀ  council chambers at Bainbridge Island City Hall.
