Passenger goes overboard from Bainbridge ferry

A passenger aboard the 1:10 p.m. Tuesday ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island went overboard, according to a traveler on the ferry.

The ferry M/V Wenatchee is currently stopped midway between Bainbridge and Seattle as the ferry crew searches for the missing passenger.

Initial details were sparse. Washington State Ferries had not yet announced a delay on the route as of 1:40 p.m. Sept. 10.
