Bainbridge Island was soaked with more than 2 inches of rain over the past 48 hours, according to Seattle Rain Watch.
The measurement of reported rain runs from Friday, April 5 through 10:33 a.m. Sunday, April 7.
The largest amount of rainfall, nearing 3 inches, was reported in Winslow and Wing Point, and along the southern shore of Eagle Harbor.
The Battle Point area of Bainbridge appeared to get less rain than the rest of Bainbridge over the past 48 hours, with slightly less than 2 inches of precipitation reported by Seattle Rain Watch.
The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Seattle reported nearly an inch of rain (.99) over the past 24 hours just south of Day Road; .80 was reported near Rockaway Beach.
A storm center that is pushing into the Western U.S. will continue to bring rain to Bainbridge Island and the region.
A 90-percent chance of rain is forecast for Sunday afternoon, with a high of 48 degrees, according to the National Weather Service Office in Seattle.
Monday is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 54 degrees.
