The work party is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23.

Volunteers can meet Erik Sherwin at the Fort Ward upper parking lot at 10 a.m.; he will lead the group down to the work site.

Directions to get to the upper parking lot: From the head of Blakely Harbor, turn off Country Club Road (right, uphill) onto Fort Ward Road; in about .8 mile turn right at Belfair Avenue, at the upper entrance to Fort Ward Park; the parking lot is about 100 yards downhill.
