Bainbridge blotter | She just wants him out

Tuesday, Feb. 5

8:37 a.m. A resident on Koura Road said her locked mailbox was broken into, and mail was also stolen from three other nearby mailboxes.

9:35 a.m. Police pulled over a driver on Arrow Point Drive and its owner was discovered to have a warrant for domestic violence. The driver was arrested.

1:56 p.m. Police responded to a domestic disturbance in Winslow. A couple was breaking up and the man was moving out. The man wanted to take items that he gave the woman as gifts and the two argued. She said she didn’t care about the items anymore and just wanted him out.

3:50 p.m. A man on High School Road reported being harassed by his daughter’s ex-boyfriend. The couple broke up over four years ago. The two men had previously been in a business deal that went bad with the economy, but now the ex-boyfriend was calling repeatedly about money he said was owed to him. The ex-boyfriend was also calling the man’s brother, who is terminally ill in hospice care. The man said the ex-boyfriend had a history of violence and anger issues.

9:15 p.m. Police responded to a 911 hang-up call from a home near Point White. The dispatcher heard crying on the line. Police found a couple arguing over stressful personal issues. The husband agreed to leave for the night.
