Woodward PTO to get technology update

The Woodward Middle School PTO will get an update on the school district's technology efforts at its next monthly general meeting.

The PTO will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at Woodward.

Randi Ivancich, the school district's director of instructional technology and assessment, will give a presentation on the district's technology plan, technology improvements, the status of technology at Woodward, and what lies ahead.

Ivancich will also share information about online textbooks, Khan Academy, the district's "bring your own" device" policy, and help provide practical guidelines for parents to help their students navigate and manage technology in their own education.
