Yvonne Curtis and Garrett Wilson are celebrating the birth of their second child — and the newborn may just be Bainbridge Island’s first baby of the new year.

Baby boy Declan Grant Wilson came into the world at 8 pounds, 5 ounces and with a full head of hair on the morning of Jan. 4 at the Swedish Medical Center’s First Hill campus in Seattle.

The parents are new to Bainbridge Island. Originally from California, they moved to the Wing Point neighborhood in mid-December because of the Island’s family-friendly character after a short stint in Fremont.

Declan and his big sister Adelaide, 3, will be attending Ordway Elementary in the years to come.
