Survey underway on language study

January 3, 2013 · 2:56 PM

The Bainbridge Island School District’s K-6 Programs and Innovations Committee has started an online survey on world language study for elementary grades.

The committee hopes the survey will help determine the interest level for world language study and the type of programs that parents would like to see developed.

The committee is considering relevant research and emerging trends in K-6 education that fit with the school district’s mission, vision and guiding principles, and the committee has identified world languages as a trend that needs consideration.

The survey is at www.surveymonkey.com/s/TGQ6QWZ.
