Bainbridge cancels next council meeting

The Bainbridge Island City Council is taking a second week off.

In observance of the New Year's holiday, the city council meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 2 has been cancelled.

The council also cancelled this week's meeting, due to the Christmas holiday.

The next meeting of the council is Sunday, Jan. 6.

Council members will gather at a special meeting from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a retreat at the Bloedel Reserve's Education Center.
