Re: The Jan. 10 KTW article previewing next week’s Scotties Tournament of Hearts women’s provincial curling championship in Kamloops (‘MacInnes to face sister in Provincials’):

I thought I would comment since I’m the “sister.”

My team and myself are excited about playing in the Tournament Capital of Canada.

And I’m excited about playing my sister, Allison.

Since she moved back to Kamloops, this will be the first year in many that we have not been on the same team.

I commuted up to Kamloops to play with her for a few years prior to her leaving and returning, and I feel a sense of comfort at the Kamloops Curling Club.

I know we both just hope for a great game.

As for our parents, thank God for the bar upstairs!
