Nanaimo man killed in crash

A 55-year-old Nanaimo man is dead after a head-on collision in Coquitlam Saturday.

The man was travelling east on the Lougheed Highway at about 5:30 p.m. when his 1990 Jaguar jumped a concrete meridian and collided with a Toyota 4-Runner.

He was pronounced dead on the scene. Dead is Hernane Pegayon Copiat, 55.
