Stands will not suit up for tonight's football game

Portable stands deemed inadequate for tonight's contest between North Kitsap and Bainbridge.
There will be a lot more crowding going on at the first sporting event of the year.
Already looking at parking complications from the construction of the new 200 building at the high school, the portable bleachers used for the visitor's side will not be available for use for tonight's game.
In an e-mail, the school district said that they were no longer safe to use after a game-day inspection of the stadium and field.
"We do expect a large turnout for the game this evening so seating will be tight. We do ask for the cooperation and patience from all attendees this evening as we deal with this challenge. We will be inviting North Kitsap visitors to sit in the West end of the stadium."
"We are assessing this new facility challenge, along with potential funding sources (i.e. donors, partnerships, etc.), with the hope of identifying a plan for the replacement of the bleachers as soon as possible."
Tonight's game is the first for both teams. It starts at 7 p.m.
