TRAVEL ADVISORY | Bainbridge ferry to fill up faster than normal Sunday

December 8, 2012 · 12:18 PM

Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to expect heavier-than-normal traffic on Sunday morning, Dec. 9.

Ferry officials said the route will be busier because of the Seahawks football game Sunday in Seattle, and noted that the Bremerton route has reduced capacity with the 64-car M/V Salish and the 124-car M/V Kitsap.

Officials expect many fans from Bremerton will use the Bainbridge ferry to travel to the game.
