The start of two high-profile, Bainbridge Island-based trials have been postponed.

Kevin M. Hardee and George R. Miller were both expected to appear in Kitsap County Superior Court Tuesday, Dec. 4, but both cases have been pushed to later dates.

Hardee will now stand trial on Dec. 10. He faces charges for allegedly attempting to kill his wife in June.

Miller faces two separate charges; one for allegedly raping a woman at a residence on High School Road in February 2012 and another for allegedly molesting a child in June 2011. His new court date has been set for Jan. 28.

Miller's trial dates have been repeatedly postponed since his arrest in February.
