The Review visited Wilkes and Ordway elementaries to talk turkey — and Thanksgiving — with some of Bainbridge’s youngest students.

"We're hosting dinner at my house, so my cousins are coming over."

What are you having for dinner?

"Turkey, mashed potatoes. Peas. And stuffing!"

What's the best thing to eat?

"Turkey!"

Why did the Pilgrims come to America?

"Because they wanted to come to a different land. They came on the Mayflower, it's a humongous ship."

How long did it take the ship to get here?

"Two years."
