Bainbridge blotter | Woman with forged check takes it on the heel

Friday, Oct. 12

1:37 a.m. Police pulled over a woman delivering newspapers on Day Road. The vehicle had expired registration, and the woman was found to have a suspended license.

10:46 a.m. A bank on Winslow Way said a woman attempted to cash a forged check. Tellers tried to stall the woman until police arrived, but she fled.

Saturday, Oct. 13

10:51 a.m. The window of a truck parked on Windsong Loop was smashed.
