An accident at Highway 305 and Madison Avenue has stalled traffic in all directions.

Two people were taken to a hospital after the crash, one via a medivac helicopter to Harborview medical center in Seattle.

According to witnesses, one car ran a red light and collided with another vehicle. Both drivers were injured.

"It appears to have been a T-bone collision," said Fire Marshal Luke Carpenter. "One person was airlifted to Harborview and the other went in an ambulance."

The accident tore the front end off of one of the vehicles and forced another off the road, down a hill, and into a tree.

Police remain on the scene and are investigating the crash.
