Work party coming for new trail at Bethany Lutheran Church

Volunteers are needed to help with the finishing touches on the new Bethany Lutheran Church trail at a work party later this weekend.

The connection is part of the island spine trail which is planned to connect Lynwood Center to Port Madison.

The work party is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 13. Activities include clearing branches, light pruning and general clean-up. Volunteers should bring loppers, clippers, gloves, water and a snack.
