A 42-year-old Bainbridge woman was airlifted to Harborview Hospital late Wednesday night after her vehicle rolled on Highway 305, according to a Bainbridge Police release. Her injuries were not considered life threatening.

Police and aid crews were dispatched to Highway 305 north of Agatewood Road at 11:39 p.m., where they found the woman unconscious in the roadway.

Police believe the woman was traveling southbound when her 2001 Ford Expedition veered across the northbound lane and collided with an embankment. The vehicle apparently rolled several times but came to rest on its wheels and the driver was able to climb out.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash but alcohol may have been a factor, the release said.

Police are requesting anyone who witnessed the the crash to call 842-5211.
