Fire destroys Agate Pass home

A north-end home was declared a "total loss" Tuesday following a house fire, Bainbridge Fire Chief Hank Teran said.

The 2,400 square foot Agate Pass Road home was fully involved when firefighters arrived at about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday. No one was home at the time of the blaze, which was extinguished within 15 minutes. Its cause is under investigation.
