Historic Preservation Commission to discuss preservation efforts in downtown Winslow

The Bainbridge Island Historic Preservation Commission will meet this week to talk about preserving and restoring historic downtown Winslow.

Commissioners will also have a preliminary discussion on the nomination of the Christiansen House to the historic register.

Also on the agenda: a report from Heather Beckmann on the National Preservation Commission Conference.

The commission will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 in the council conference room at city hall.
