Park officials have trail talk

The board of commissioners for Bainbridge Island parks will meet next week to get an update on the John Nelson Trail and consider approval of the trail plan.

The board is expected to review and vote on an interlocal agreement with the city of Bainbridge Island that covers

The Waypoint, the proposed gateway park on the (former Unocal site in Winslow.

Commissioners will also discus a policy for the use of social media.

The Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District will hold its regular board meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 at Strawberry Hill Center.
