Approximately $15,500 worth of property was stolen from a Bainbridge Island home earlier this month.
The burglary at a residence on Dolphin Drive was reported to Bainbridge Island police Sunday,
Aug. 19. The majority of lost valuables came from a jewelry box that contained nearly 100 individual items of jewelry.
A flat-screen television, stereo system, speakers, laptop computer and an iPad were also taken in the theft.
The residents also reported that important documents such as birth certificates, Social Security cards, and marriage documents were also stolen.
According to police reports, the unknown suspects most likely entered the home through an open window and exited through the front door.
