Friends of the Farms is hosting the second annual Farm to Table Dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 on Winslow Way between Blackbird Bakery and Dana’s Showhouse celebrating local farming.

Fresh, organic and natural ingredients will be featured by 12 local restaurants and 10 wineries, breweries and distilleries, along with award-winning gypsy jazz music by Pearl Django.

All proceeds from the dinner will be used immediately to preserve farmland, promote agricultural practices and to increase the production of locally grown food.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for children under 12, and are available at friendsoft

hefarms.org and Eagle Harbor Book Company.
