This year's Bainbridge Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale brought in $385,856 in gross receipts, Rotary officials have announced.

Mike Killian, chairman of the event, announced the total for the 2012 auction at the annual Volunteer Picnic on Sunday.

"This will accomplish much in our local and international communities," Killian said.

The total amount raised is roughly $30,000 more than the money raised during the 2011 auction and sale.
