Candidate for judge hosts event on Bainbridge Island

Jennifer Forbes will hold a meet-and-greet event for her campaign for Kitsap County Superior Court next week at the Wing Point Golf and Country Club.
Forbes, an attorney and former prosecutor, is running to fill the position now held by Superior Court Judge M. Karlynn Haberly. Haberly announced earlier she would not seek re-election.
Forbes will hold a community gathering from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at the country club. Everyone is welcome, and RSVPs are not needed.
