Police investigate bomb threat at Woodward

March 26, 2012 · 9:32 AM

Bainbridge Island Police were called to Woodward Middle School last week after a student found a bomb threat written on the wall of a bathroom stall.

The words “BOMB 1” were found written in pencil inside a stall in a downstairs girls bathroom by a student at 1:55 p.m. Friday, March 16.

Because the time had indicated in the threat had already passed, the school was not evacuated. School officials did a walk-through of the building, but didn’t find anything suspicious.

School officials told police that an email would be sent to staff in an attempt to find the person who made the threat.
