Bainbridge Majors at full count for path to state | Slideshow
July 16, 2009 · Updated 11:04 AM
The Bainbridge Majors baseball team steamrolled its competition for the first four rounds of the district tournament. But the South Kitsap West team handed Bainbridge its first loss in a 10-7 game Wednesday night at Art Mikelsen Field in Port Orchard.
Bainbridge still has the opportunity to make it to the state's Little League tournament if it can defeat South Kitsap West in a rematch tonight at 7:30 p.m. on the same field.
The winner earns a birth in the tournament, which begins July 25 in Port Orchard. (Staff Photos by Brad Camp/Bainbridge Review)
