Dozens of hanging flower baskets were placed last week by volunteers along Winslow Way. Rich McDonald, left and Rich Mroz were among the heavy lifters. The flowers, which were funded with LTAC money this year, will be adding color to the downtown area through Labor Day. Volunteers are still needed to give the flowers a watering each morning; for information call Linda Coble at 206-855-8398 or the Senior Center at 842-1616.
