Pete Glosten was a force in this community. Among her many contributions, she started the line dancing class at the Bainbridge Island Senior Community Center more than 10 years ago. Her friend and protege, Michiko Sackett, took over three years ago.

“Line dancing is the best present I got from Pete. I always start the week with the Monday morning class at the Commons.  About 20 people show up. The upbeat country and pop music makes everyone feel free and young again.”

It’s hard not to move. In fact, I didn’t get many sharp exposures, photographing while tapping my feet to the beat.
