Bob Royce has his mug shot taken by librarian Audrey Barbakoff for a Banned Book Week display at the library. Bob, a retired librarian of 25 years, said he didn’t think he would be offended by any of the hundreds of banned books, which include such favorites as Huckleberry Finn, Catcher In the Rye, and the Webster Dictionary. Next in line, I held my copy of “A Clockwork Orange” while Audrey took my picture. Google the full list of banned books. Amazing.
