Get in the holiday spirit at the first Bainbridge Winter Wonderland from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 in Waterfront Park.

The free event will feature live reindeer, carolers, ice sculptures, s’mores and cocoa with the Bainbridge Island Police Department, Santa and Mrs. Claus.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy holiday music and buggy rides in downtown Bainbridge while you finish your holiday shopping. Many local merchants will be offering fun surprises, as well as a chance to win one of two special gifts — something for the little ones and for the adults, a $1,000 shopping spree. Drawings will be held at 7 p.m. in Waterfront Park. Winners will also be posted on the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association website, www.bainbridgedown town.org. No purchase is necessary to receive an entry form.

Brien Drive will be closed to traffic during the event.
